Join author Tristan Clark as he shares the untold stories of the Australian punk scene uncovered in his books Orstralia: A Punk History 1974-89 and Orstralia: 1990-1999. Through 200 interviews, Tristan explored the vibrant subculture’s evolution amidst cultural shifts, revealing the passion and intensity that defined this dynamic musical scene. For music makers & lovers alike! The image below illustrates the theme – it was found on the website of the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia, and print was a gift of the artist, Tim Johnson, born in Sydney in 1947. Tim lives and works in Sydney still. It is a screen print, sheet 58 x 45cm, frame 106 x 67.5 x 3.7cm framed with 1992.58 |
