New TV show about Australian collecting
ANTIQUES WITH ATTITUDE IS AN AUSTRALIAN TV PROGRAMME ABOUT COLLECTING – its on channel 31, starting on 3 December at 6.30 pm and it runs for 13 weeks.
The press release advises:
….What can we expect? – Stories of passionate collectors, dealers and auctioneers and the strange and quirky things they come across. But what makes Antiques with Attitude different from any other show is its focus on Melbourne.
Antiques with Attitude will take you back to your childhood with Melbourne show bags, it will remind you of a time when advertising was seen on matchbox labels and beer coasters, it will make you want to grab that Beatles record out of the cupboard. Crikey, there’s even a Logie.
Most importantly, Antiques with Attitude celebrates the weird and wonderful people of Melbourne: a collection of their stories with a whole lot of attitude! Along with much, much more!
Here is a sneak preview of some of the items that will be discussed on the show.

We have been enjoying the informative series Antiques with Attitude on Channel 31 and look forward to seeing the programme continue. We were disappointed that tonight being the 4th March there was no episode of the programme.
Is Antiques with Attitude to be continued? We are certainly hoping so.
